Nepal is home to 8 of the highest peak in the world, which includes Mount Everest, highest of them all. This makes Nepal ideal place for adventures like trekking & peak climbing.

In Nepal, mountains are classified into two categories; Trekking Peak & Climbing Peak. Trekking Peak is generally considered climbable with requirement of moderate mountaineering skill while Climbing Peak requires experience & skills to use mountaineering tools.

In Nepal, 33 mountains with height of around 5,650-6,500 m are classified as Trekking Peaks. Some of the most popular trekking destination are Everest Region, Annapurna Region, Langtang Region, Mustang, Manaslu and Dolpo region.
