Pokhara is second city of Nepal, which lies 200 km from Kathmandu. The green forests, beautiful lakes & rivers and views of Himalayan ranges makes it one of the popular destination of Nepal outside Kathmandu.

Three out of the ten highest mountains in the world — Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu are within 30 miles of the city, which provides great mountain view besides Fishtail mountain. Nyatapola is a 5-Storey Temple in Bhaktapur build by Malla King Bhupatindra Malla during 1701-1702 AD. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Siddhi Lashami, Hindu Goddess of Prosperity. There are pair of idols placed as we climb up the stairs who are regarded as the guardians of the temple.

Chitwan National Park

Established in 1973, Chitwan National Park is the first National Park of Nepal and was granted the status of World Heritage Site in 1984. It is located in Chitwan District, covering an area of 932 sq. km.

Chitwan National Park is covered mostly with Sal trees (about 70%)  and Terai-Duar Savanna & grasslands (20%). There are variety of species of vegetation found within Chitwan National Park. Some of the tallest grass in the world like Elephant Grass is found within this area.

Besides wide range of vegetation, there is also large amount of wildlife, believed to be about 700 species. Apart from King Cobra & Rock Python, there are 17 other species of Snakes, tortoise and lizards. The Narayani-Rapti river that forms a boundary in the West & North is perfect habitat for 113 recorded species of Fish, Mugger & Gharial crocodiles.
